ICMIC RELEASES ANOTHER TWO HIGH PERFORMANCE DACs -ICM7343 & ICM7323

Cyberjaya, Malaysia, July 17, 2002: IC MICROSYSTEMS (ICmic) today announced the launch of another two new Digital to Analog Converters (DAC), the ICM7343, a Quad 10-bit DAC and the ICM7323, a Quad 8-bit DAC. This is in quick sequence to the successful market release of its Quad 12-bit DAC last month.

The President and CEO of ICmic, Abdul Rashid Munir describes the company’s latest product releases as the continual fulfillment of the company’s promise to customers and expectation of the market. “Our effective design for manufacturing empowers us to release high-performance products on-time and effectively reduce cost to provide direct benefits to our customers. The devices feature an on-board reference and use a resistor string architecture that guarantees monotonicity”, said Abdul Rashid from his headquarter in Cyberjaya, in Malaysia’s Multimedia Super Corridor area.

These products are suitable for high accuracy applications such as Process and Motion control, ATE, battery-powered equipment and for the Gain and Offset adjustment.

The company is on-track for the release of its other DAC and ADC in this quarter and next to complete its initial product portfolio.
