IC MICROSYSTEMS or ICmic today announces The ICM7363, a Quad 12-bit DAC with very high accuracy at a very low cost. The DAC is also the first fully designed Integrated Circuit (IC) in Multimedia Super Corridor at Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
The Quad 12-bit DAC is suitable for battery-powered applications, Process Control and for Gain and Offset Adjustment.
The President and CEO of ICmic, Abdul Rashid Munir describes the product release as a milestone for the company. “This ICM7363 DAC will position ICmic to serve its customers with a very high accuracy DAC, thus reflecting a great value from the very competitive cost”, said Abdul Rashid from his headquarter in Cyberjaya, the Malaysia’s Multimedia Super Corridor area.
The technology for this DAC has been fully developed at ICmic and its performance surpasses that of other DACs from very well established players in the market. Currently the product is being sampled to various companies worldwide.
ICmic plans to release up to 15 devices in the next 6 months based on the above core technology.
ICM7363 is available in 16-Pin QSOP. It features an on-board reference, uses a resistor string architecture that guarantees monotonicity.
